One of the best things about this roasted Brussels sprouts recipe is how versatile it is. All you need are a few basic ingredients: Brussels sprouts, olive oil, and a few seasonings. From there, you can easily customize them to your liking. Add a sprinkle of smoked paprika for extra flavor, or drizzle with balsamic glaze after roasting for a sweet and tangy finish.

The key to getting perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts is to cut them in half so the flat side can get that beautiful golden-brown color against the hot baking sheet. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan—giving them enough space allows the heat to circulate and helps them crisp up. A hot oven works best, and you’ll want to give them a good stir halfway through roasting so they cook evenly.

Want to take them up a notch? Try tossing them with grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice once they’re out of the oven. These simple additions add layers of flavor without much extra effort.
