In today’s post I’m sharing a brand new full body workout.

It’s feeling like summer here in Calgary with hot temperatures and lots of sun. The first few weeks of summer like weather always feels extra good after the cold and snowy winters. There’s something about sitting in the backyard while relaxing and reading a book in the sun that just feels so good.

Perform 12 reps x 3 sets of each exercise before moving onto the next one on the list. Rest for 2 minutes between each set in order to give your muscles time to recover. I typically use lighter weights for upper body exercises and heavier weights for lower body ones. If that last few reps of an exercise can’t be done with good form, then it’s a good indicator that the weight you’re using is too heavy. Having correct form is a must to prevent injuries! If you’re working out at home, I like these dumbbells (affiliate link) and this yoga mat (affiliate link).

  • Overhead press
  • Dumbbell squat
  • Dumbbell chest press
  • Weighted step ups
  • Bicep curls
  • Bodyweight bench hops

If you’re looking for the other workouts I’ve shared on Get Fit Fiona, you can find them on the workouts page. You can also find my workout playlists all in one spot. I find that a good playlist is great motivation to work hard. If you do this full body workout, be sure to tag me on Instagram. I’d love to know how you liked it!
