I’m sharing an all new 20 minute workout today. It’s perfect for those days when you’re short on time.
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a workout here on Get Fit Fiona, so I figured today would be the perfect day. This workout can be done easily at home if you have a set or two of dumbbells (affiliate link) and yoga mat (affiliate link) for the pushups and crunches. For a workout like this I prefer to have two sets of dumbbells – a heaver one for the lower body exercises, and a lighter set for the upper body ones. The yoga mat is nice to have when working out on a hard floor – it makes crunches and push ups a lot more comfortable.
You’ll want to do each exercise for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of rest and to transition to the next move. Start at the top of the list of exercises and work your day down. Once you’ve completed the lateral raises and rested, start over at the top again. 20 minutes and you’re done!
- Dumbbell squats
- Overhead press
- Alternating lunges
- Push ups
- Bicycle crunches
- Bicep curls
- Step ups
- Lateral raises
