In today’s post I’m sharing a brand new workout playlist, which includes a link to the playlist on Spotify.

Hello and happy Monday! I know a lot of you are from the US and had a long weekend the past few days. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and were able to spend time (safely) with friends and family. It was fun to see a lot of fireworks on Instagram on Saturday night. Did you do anything fun over the past few days? Were you lucky enough to have a long weekend?

It wasn’t a long weekend for me here in Canada, but it was still a good Saturday and Sunday. I stuck close to home for the most part and filled my weekend with lots of reading, cleaning, and spending time outdoors. I was able to get my housework done in record time (thanks to wanting to get outside to the backyard), so that was a nice surprise. I’ve been reading Emily, Gone (affiliate link) and The Other Boleyn Girl (affiliate link). I’m really enjoying both of them even though they’re both quite different books. I also binge listened to the Faerie podcast. I’ve really enjoyed other podcasts by them, and Faerie is no different. If you like the spooky and the weird, be sure to check it out.

Thankfully I have a decent setup in the backyard so I can almost always find a bit of shade back there. I have really fair skin and burn pretty easily so I’m all about the sunscreen and shade during the summer months. I spent some time out there on Friday and again on Sunday. I’m so grateful that I have access to outdoor space. I know that not everyone has that. It makes social distancing and staying at home more easier to know that I can spend time outside.

And now onto the workout playlist!

I was all about the pop and top 40 hits when I was putting this workout together. I’m really enjoying it right now, so I thought I would create a playlist that reflected it. I have everything from Beyonce to Billie Eilish to Selena Gomez on it. If you’re not feeling the pop hits, be sure to check out my workout playlists page to check out all of the other playlists that I’ve shared on the blog over the years.

A good playlist will always getting me in the mood to give my workouts more effort than I would usually. I think that’s actually like using the Peloton app so much. They have some really good music on there. Especially when I’m working out at home, it’s nice to have an extra boost of motivation. When I go to the gym it’s easy to feel better with some many other people around me working out and giving it their all. But at home it feels very different and it can be a struggle sometimes to get that workout done.

You can also find me over on Spotify and follow me there so you can access my all of my workout playlists there as well. The playlist is here on Spotify if you want to check it out directly. This workout playlists is 50 minutes long. I find that that’s generally long enough for me to finish a workout, so I hope that it is for you too. If you’re looking for a workout to do while listening to this playlist, you can find all of my workouts on this page.
