Homemade chicken nuggets in the air fryer

I cooked up some more chicken nuggets in the air fryer this week. I love how crispy the breading comes out with a minimal amount of oil. I have to cook them in a couple batches but it’s well worth the extra time and effort.

Workout of the day on my gym’s whiteboard

My gym has started to share workouts each day on a whiteboard by the track. I love getting inspired by the different workouts that are posted. It’s so easy to get in a rut when it comes to workouts, and having some outside inspiration is always a good thing.

The whiteboard workouts are a relatively new thing for my gym – they’ve only started doing it since the beginning of 2020. I’m hoping that it’s something that they continue to do because it’s always nice to have a back up workout just in case I’m not able to do the workout that I had planned on.

Puppy yoga karma class

If you’re in Calgary, the Yoga Shala is hosting a puppy yoga karma class the afternoon of February 2nd. It’s benefiting ARF. If you’re interested in attending be sure to call and save your spot. I’ve gone to puppy yoga before and it’s been so much fun. I highly recommend it if you have the change to do puppy yoga!

Meet Me in Monaco

I started reading this book last weekend and I’m really enjoying it. Meet Me in Monaco (affiliate link) by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb is a historical fiction book about Grace Kelly and two other fictional characters. I read about it on Julie’s blog and it sounded good when I read her description of it.

Here’s the synopsis from Good Reads:

Movie stars and paparazzi flock to Cannes for the glamorous film festival, but Grace Kelly, the biggest star of all, wants only to escape from the flash-bulbs. When struggling perfumer Sophie Duval shelters Miss Kelly in her boutique, fending off a persistent British press photographer, James Henderson, a bond is forged between the two women and sets in motion a chain of events that stretches across thirty years of friendship, love, and tragedy.

James Henderson cannot forget his brief encounter with Sophie Duval. Despite his guilt at being away from his daughter, he takes an assignment to cover the wedding of the century, sailing with Grace Kelly’s wedding party on the SS Constitution from New York. In Monaco, as wedding fever soars and passions and tempers escalate, James and Sophie—like Princess Grace—must ultimately decide what they are prepared to give up for love.

I’m about half way through now and I’m finding it hard to put down. I keep telling myself I’ll only read one more chapter, but it usually ends up being 3 or 4 more instead.
