I’m so excited to share that I’ll be offering yoga classes in Calgary starting in January. In this post I’m sharing all the details and how to sign up.

It feels like it’s been a long time coming even though it honestly hasn’t been all that long since I’ve been able to teach yoga. I’m really excited to be able to share my offerings that start in January.
All of the below classes series run for 6 weeks, starting the week of January 5 2020. The price includes classes for the entire 6 weeks, the use of a yoga mat if you don’t have one, and all the props that you’ll need during the class as well.
Not sure which class you should sign up for? Send me an email (getfitfiona at gmail dot com) and I can suggest one based on what you’re looking for. All of the classes are beginner friendly and don’t require any previous yoga experience. I wanted to make sure that they weren’t intimidating so that people new to yoga would feel welcomed.

This beginner 6 week class series is for people who are brand new to yoga. Intro to yoga will help you to develop strength, balance, and flexibility without feeling overwhelmed. Small class size (5 students max) ensures a more relaxed environment. A yoga mat and all of the props that you’ll need (blocks, strap, blanket, and bolster) will be available for you to use during class. No previous yoga experience required. Intro to Yoga runs Wednesdays 7 pm – 8 pm from Jan 8 to Feb 12, 2020 at Friendship Fitness (4029 Brentwood Road NW, Calgary). Click here to register for Intro to Yoga.

This 6 week yin class series focuses on the connective tissues of the body. This is the perfect class for those new to yoga. Poses are done mainly on the floor and held for 3 to 5 minutes. Small class size (max 5 students) ensures a relaxed and supportive environment. A yoga mat and all of the props that you’ll need will be available for you to use during class. No previous yoga experience is required. Yin Yoga runs Saturdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am
from January 11 to February 15, 2020 at Friendship Fitness (4039 Brentwood Road NW, Calgary).

This 6 week class series offers a non-judgmental and inclusive place for people in bigger bodies to practice yoga. Small class size (5 student max) ensures a relaxed and supportive environment. A yoga mat and all of the props that you’ll need (blocks, blanket, strap, and bolster) will be available for you to use during class. No previous yoga experience is required. Open to all shapes and sizes. Yoga for beginners runs on Saturdays 9:10 am – 10:10 am from January 11 to February 15, 2020 at Friendship Fitness (4039 Brentwood Road NW, Calgary). This 6 week restorative class series is the perfect way to slow down and relax. Poses are held for 3 to 10 minutes and are supported with props. Small class size (max 5 students) ensures a relaxed and supportive environment. A yoga mat and all of the props that you’ll need (blocks, blanket, strap, and bolster) will be available for you to use during class. No previous yoga experience is required. Restorative Yoga runs Saturdays 11:50 am – 12:50 pm from January 11 to February 15, 2020 at Friendship Fitness (4039 Brentwood Road NW, Calgary). Click here to register for Restorative Yoga.
