Today I’m recapping my workouts from the past week.

My workouts this week were yoga and cardio on the elliptical at the gym. I did 5 yoga classes and went to the gym 4 times. It was a pretty good week in terms of workouts.


I attended a Hips N Hammies yoga class with a teacher that I really like. My hips felt so good when I left – they’re chronically tight – so it felt amazing by the time the class was over.


I spent 35 minutes on the elliptical at the gym for some steady state cardio. I then did a 10 minute cool down by walking on the track.


I went to a noon hour Yoga Flow class on Tuesday for my workout. I was surprised that I didn’t sweat much because I worked really hard. My legs were shaking in the last few high lunge poses that we did.


I got in a cardio workout on Wednesday morning. I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical and then did a cool down on the track for 10 minutes. That night I also did another Yoga Flow class.


My gym workout on Thursday morning was 35 minutes of steady state cardio followed by a 5 minute cool down on the track.

I went to a Yin and Restore yoga class in the evening. The usual teacher wasn’t there so we had a sub instead. It was still a great class and I left feeling super relaxed. I ended up falling asleep really quickly which I attribute to feeling really relaxed.


I went to a Gentle Flow and Restore class on Friday night. I figured it was a great way to end my week.


I took a rest day.

What’s your favorite kind of yoga class?

My favorite is definitely ashtanga, followed by yin/restore classes.
