This week is off to a good start for me. The weather is finally starting to warm up here in Calgary. This weekend it’s even supposed to be above the freezing mark! There’s still a ton of snow everywhere, but at least the city isn’t under an extreme cold warning anymore.

I don’t want to jinx it by saying that spring is on the way, but I sure hope that it is. I’m more than ready for this winter to be over. I’m hoping it’s warming up where you are too if you’ve had a long winter as well.

And now onto the workout playlist!

This month’s playlist is a mix of newer songs and older ones. It’s a bit eclectic, but they’re all songs that I like. Some of the throwback songs include Jumpin’ Jumpin’ by Destiny’s Child, Get Busy by Sean Paul, and Jenny from the Block by Jennifer Lopez.

I have such good memories associated with some of those older songs. I remember listening to Destiny’s Child in my friend’s car driving home from high school, and listening to Jenny from the Block with friends in university. Isn’t it funny how music can bring back such vivid memories?
