I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was pretty low key but fun – more on that below. This week is turning out to be a busy one. I have yoga teacher training this coming weekend so I’m trying to get as much studying done this week as I can for my anatomy and philosophy tests.
Date night
Friday night was date night for my boyfriend and I. We started off the night at puppy socialization class with his bulldog puppy, Winston. He ran around the entire hour and had lots of fun playing with the other five puppies. There was a labradoodle, a viszla, and a sheltie. I didn’t get to talk to the owners of the other puppos to find out what breeds they were.

Winston ended up playing with a pylon that they had there. He was quite proud of himself running around with it in his mouth.
When we got back to my boyfriend’s place, we decided that we were in the mood for a movie. We went with Ralph Breaks the Internet. I thought it was pretty cute, and I even liked it better than the first one, Wreck It Ralph.
It turned out to be a pretty fun date night. I’d had some major dental work done earlier in the day, so it felt so good to be doing something fun Friday night to counteract all the stress and anxiety of being at the dentist.

Reading Reconstructing Amelia
I spent a few hours on both Saturday and Sunday finishing up Reconstructing Amelia (affiliate link). It definitely picked up during the second half, so it was hard to put down. If you’re looking for a mystery to read, give Reconstructing Amelia a chance.
Mona Lisa Smile
Saturday night I spent some quality time with Netflix while I was on the couch. I decided on Mona Lisa Smile. I think I must have seen it at some point because there were a few parts that seemed familiar. It’s a feel good movie about going against what society expects of you and doing your own thing instead.
