It’s Friday! Is anyone else glad that the weekend is here? I have to get some dental work done this morning, but tonight I have some fun plans. For date night my boyfriend and I are taking his bulldog puppy Winston to puppy socialization class. He’ll get to run around and get out all of his excess energy.
I have at least one yoga class (maybe even two) on the calendar for the rest of the weekend, so I’m looking forward to getting some quality workout time in. I get to see my brother on Sunday too, so it’s shaping up to be a pretty good weekend.
Do you have any fun plans?

Coffee with good friends
Yesterday I got together with a former co-worker turned really good friend to get coffee and catch up on life. We hadn’t seen each other since the fall, so it had been quite awhile since we’d last gotten together. You know those friends that after spending time with them you just feel good? That’s this friend for me. We decided that the next time we get together we’re going to get Thai food.
Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight
I borrowed this ebook from my library last weekend and I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s actually been hard to put down at night when I’m reading before bed. It’s about a mother who starts investigating her daughter’s (Amelia) death. The police tell her that her daughter killed herself by jumping off the roof of the private school that she attended. Kate, the mom doesn’t think that that’s something her daughter would do, so she starts trying to figure out what really did happen.

I can’t speak for the ending yet as I’m only about half way through, but I’m really enjoying it so far. If you like reading mysteries I would recommend Reconstructing Amelia (affiliate link) one to you.
Yoga classes that make you work hard
Tuesday night I took a class with one of my favorite yoga teachers at the Yoga Shala. It was a flow and and restore class. The flow part was based on the primary series of ashtanga yoga. Needless to say, I worked really hard in the first 3/4 of the class. I was super sweaty and it felt so good. I love those classes where you work really hard. The last 1/4 of the class was very relaxing and slow with restorative postures.
