Woohoo! The weekend is here! I have zero plans this weekend except for a yoga class or two. I may have even just gotten home from a yin yoga class and my hips are feeling amazing rather than their usual tight and cranky.
As usual for Fridays, today I’m sharing some of my favorite things from the past week. Share one of yours in the comments below.

Yin yoga
Like I mentioned above, I went to a yin yoga class. Over the summer I’ve been going to more of them than I’ve ever gone to before. Yin is growing on me. While I have been to yin classes years ago, I never really connected with that style of yoga. Until now that is. Yin focuses on long holds of several minutes that feel so so good. I leave with my usually tight hips feeling absolutely amazing. If you haven’t tried yin yoga before, I highly recommend it.
Baby Got Back: symphony edition
I just discovered this video and once I watched it I knew that I had to share. It’s a fun song in it’s original form, and it’s so cool to hear it with the orchestra playing. I love how the woman in the black dress is absolutely loving it.

Butterscotch chip cookies
I made some butterscotch chips cookies again this week because they were just so good last time. I used this recipe and just swapped out the chocolate chips for butterscotch chips. They turn out perfect every single time.
Super soft pajama pants
This week I had to go out and buy some new pajama pants. Apparently I was doing kicks or yoga or something in my sleep, because when I got out of bed on Thursday morning the seam was split on the outside of my right leg. I seriously have no idea how I managed to do that.
The new ones that I bought are made of super soft flannel. So soft that I couldn’t stop running my hand on them last night when I put them on. They’re going to be perfect for the colder winter months. I found them at Mark’s, though it doesn’t look like they’re on the website.
