Good morning! Yesterday flew by so I’m hoping that today feels less busy. I’m looking forward to getting together with some other women tonight after work. It’s a Ladies Learning Code meet up, so it’s always fun to meet some other people and find out what they’re working on.
I’m sharing a brand new workout playlist today. This one includes Imagine Dragons, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Timbaland. As always, you can find all of my workout playlists on my blog, my Pinterest account, and on Spotify.

Although this playlist has mostly older songs, they’re some of my absolute favorites. It’s hard to go wrong with anything from Sean Paul or Katy Perry.
Isn’t it crazy to think about how much music has changed over the last 20 years? Back in 1998 I was in high school, and I remember having to decide which CD I wanted to take to school with me in my Discman. Even though it was always skipping (so annoying) it was much better than being without music.
How I have access to just about any song I want to listen to thanks to the Spotify app on my phone. As much as technology stresses me out when it’s not working properly, I’m very grateful for it other times.
I’m pretty sure I’ve already mentioned this, but I’m really loving Spotify Premium. I can download workout playlists to my phone so that I can listen to them at the gym without having to use my data. It’s well worth the money in my opinion. Plus not having to listen to ads is pretty awesome too. I signed up with the promo rate, but once that’s over at the end of the month I’m going to be renewing with the regular rate.

When I get to choose my music during a workout, I’m listening to Drake at least 50% of the time. I don’t know why, but his music always pumps me up. I also listen to a lot of country when working out, but I listen to a lot of country always :)
