Today I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day workout playlist. I’ve included some of my favorite love themed songs.
Happy hump day – we’re officially half way through the week! Over the weekend we got a huge dump of snow, and we’re supposed to get another one tomorrow, so I’m hoping to get all of my errands done today before the driving conditions get worse.
It’s been awhile since I last posted a workout playlist (I think my last one was in September!), so I thought I’d put one together for today’s post. Inspired by Valentine’s Day, this one includes some of my favorite love themed songs.
I added a couple older songs like Be My Lover by La Bouche from the 90’s and Love Shack by the B52’s from the late 80’s. Cause it’s not a playlist until you have a couple throwback songs. The rest of them are all pretty recent. Love isn’t always happy though, so I made sure to add songs like Bad Romance by Lady Gaga and Tainted Love by Soft Cell.
Whenever I hear Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars it makes me think of a guy I dated for a summer. I’m not sure what it is exactly that makes me think of him, but I think it might just be that it was always on the radio that summer. I think both of us realized that it wasn’t going to be a long term thing, but it was still fun to spend that summer with him.
My favorite song on this playlist is definitely Shape of You. I know that it’s been out for awhile now, but I still turn it up whenever it comes on the radio while I’m in the car.

In case you’re looking for a pair of great headphones that stay in place and have some great sound quality, check out Anker SoundBuds Slim Wireless Headphones (affiliate link). My brother got them for me for Christmas and I really like them. They were super easy to sync up to my phone and they sound great playing everything from music to podcasts. What’s a song on your current playlist? Do any songs remind you of anyone you’ve dated?

Great playlist! I only listen to music when doing weight training. When I run I really like listening to audio books. I seem to stay really focused during that time.
