Weekly Workouts

Sunday // I took a rest day to start off the week because the glutes on my right side were still pretty sore from falling down a few steps the day before. Leave it to me to hurt myself while being klutzy.

Monday // I was still pretty sore from my fall, so I took another rest day on Monday. I’m not going to lie, I was feeling pretty antsy for a workout, but I didn’t want to push it.

Tuesday // I got to the gym before work and ended up on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I took it a bit easier than usual, but it felt so good to finally be back at it.

Wednesday //Β Planned rest day.

Thursday // I decided on a bike workout at the gym on Thursday. After an easy warm up I turned up the tension and pedaled away for 40 a total of 40 minutes.

Friday //Β Unplanned rest day. As soon as my alarm went off I turned it off, rolled over, and went back to sleep. I didn’t sleep very well the night before so I decided to sleep instead of head to the gym.

Saturday // My plan to day is to do a Jessica Smith YouTube workout after lunch.

This week’s workouts definitely weren’t as numerous as I would have liked, but I was really sore after I fell last week. Thankfully I’m feeling back to normal and the plan is to go back to my usual workouts next week. It’s a good reminder to be thankful that I’m healthy and can workout. Being injured isn’t fun at all. Working out is a big stress reliever for me, and I really missed it while I was out of commission.
