This is an especially happy Friday because it’s a long weekend – at least here in Canada – for Victoria Day. I’ll be spending most of the long weekend studying because I have 2 midterms next week, but I’m still going to make some time for fun stuff.
My boyfriend found this beer for me last weekend and it turned out to be pretty tasty. July 1st will be Canada’s 150th birthday. This beer is from a Canadian beer company that’s doing a collaboration with a brewery from every province to celebrate. This is the one from Alberta (where I live). I’m kind of bummed out that it’s a limited edition beer because I would drink this again.
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been on the hunt for some cute shoes. Well I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found some! I originally found them online, but decided to check them out in person since there was a store less than 10 minutes away from where I live. Cute, affordable, and comfy – it doesn’t get much better than that. You can find them here (they also come in white and salmon colors).
Apparently it’s been awhile since I’ve done some baking, because even though I made these oatmeal muffins from a mix I thought that they were delicious. They were perfect in the morning paired with some fruit and yogurt for a quick breakfast.
My dad ended up picking this up for me, thinking I would like it since I like the Bolthouse juices so much. It was pretty tasty, but I think the Bolthouse juices still edge out these ones. Maybe I’d like a different flavor more? I’ll have to keep my eyes out for them at the grocery store.
