This week has been flying by – I can't believe that it's already Friday! It's been another busy week at school. I think it's because the spring semester is only 8 weeks long and we're trying to get as much in as possible each class. As a result classes are jam packed with information. I'm grateful that we're spending some time in the gym learning how to do fitness assessments (mCAFT, treadmill walk, cycle ergometer, etc.). It's fun to be doing something instead of sitting in a classroom. Only 6 more weeks of classes left to go!
Today I thought I'd share my latest workout playlist. This one includes some older songs (2011ish for Like A G6 if I remember right and Fire Burning by Sean Kingston) as well as some newer ones like Shape of You by Ed Sheeran. I've really been enjoying Drake lately, so I had to add one of his songs to this playlist. The same goes for Meghan Trainor. When her first single came out a few years ago I just didn't like it as much as others did, but I've been liking more of her recent stuff. You can find more of my workout playlists here.
Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? A good chunk of mine will be spent doing homework. I have three assignments due next week, so I'll be working on those. I also have a bunch of reading to do. I'm looking forward to finding some time checking out the farmer's market and a date night with my boyfriend too though. You have to add in a bit of fun in there.
And just in case you're looking for a new cocktail or two to try, Popsugar shared 10 summer cocktails that contain 200 calories or less – just in time for the weekend!
What's on your current workout playlist? I love hearing what other people are listening to at the gym. Any exciting plans for the weekend?
