Happy Saturday friends! I took it easy last night watching Blue Bloods on the couch. It was exactly the low key Friday night that I needed. It was a busy week and I just needed to relax. I’m looking forward to more of the same this weekend. I stopped by the farmer’s market this morning and tomorrow afternoon will be my first time volunteering for a new organization which I’m really excited about.
Since it’s Saturday I’m sharing my workouts over the last week.
Monday // I decided to do a Jillian Michaels workout. Since I don’t have kettlebells at home I just used a dumbbell instead, which worked perfectly.
Tuesday // Because I had to be at school earlier than usual I took a rest day. I just didn’t have enough time to squeeze in a workout.
Wednesday // I went with a Jessica Smith workout on YouTube. I was running behind schedule so I needed something quick. So in 25 minutes I was able to get in a great workout. While they may not be super exciting, her workouts are the best when I’m short on time.
Thursday // I decided to sleep instead of workout today. My alarm went off, I hit snooze once, and then I turned it off completely, rolled over, and went back to sleep. A workout just wasn’t going to happen. The extra sleep was worth it though.
Friday // I ended up doing one of my own workouts (which I don’t do very often). I did this 24 minute circuit workout. I ended up skipping the lunges though cause my knees aren’t feeling great at the moment. I have no idea what I did to them, but I’m definitely noticing them when I’m going up and down stairs. I didn’t want to make it worse so I figured the best thing would be to skip the lunges all together.
Saturday // Today I’m taking another rest day.
