Happy Monday! I hope you were able to enjoy the extra hour we gained yesterday. I slept in a bit and got a barre workout in. I’m pretty excited about this week because I only have two days of classes. Monday and Tuesday are like normal, but Wednesday and Thursday are reading days, and Friday is a stat holiday for Remembrance Day. I’ll be able to get some extra homework done and I’m planning on going to a ceremony downtown with my dad and brother for Remembrance Day.
How did your first week of the challenge go? If you happened to miss a day or two, don’t worry. Pick right back up again this week, this challenge isn’t about perfection.
Day 7 // Try a new fitness class today. From barre to spin, get out of your comfort zone.
Day 8 // Take the stairs instead of the elevator at work or school today. Get in a few extra steps.
Day 9 // Eat at least two servings of whole grains today.
Day 10 // Record everything you eat today. Use a notebook or your favorite app on your phone (I like to use My Fitness Pal).
Day 11 // Forego the alcohol today. Start your weekend right and reach for water instead to stay hydrated.
Day 12 // Eat two extra servings of fruit or veggies today.
Day 13 // Make a meal plan for the next week. Remember to include snacks in addition to meals.
