Well, I didn’t quite get this playlist posted in October (24 hours too late!), but I thought I would leave the title as it is. Read on for all the details on my October Workout Playlist.
I was inspired to put together a playlist with older (but still great) songs. For the most part my playlists contain songs that are on the top 40 radio stations right now. I thought it would be fun to make one with older songs that aren’t on the radio as much right now. I included everything from Justin Timberlake to Nelly Furtado, so there’s something for everyone. Here’s my October workout playlist:
I first heard Run This Town a few years ago when it was in the Brooklyn’s Finest trailer (such a good movie BTW) and I’ve liked it ever since. Man Eater, Run This Town, and California are three songs that I love but for some reason don’t put on many of my playlists. I also like that because they’re a bit older I don’t hear them all the time on the radio so I’m always a little excited when they come on while I’m listening to this playlist. I was actually listening to this playlist while I was doing some homework in the library at school and I had to keep reminding myself not dance in my chair. Yep, I’m really enjoying this playlist.
I also added two classic rock songs to this month’s playlist – Dream On by Aerosmith and Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones. Although they’re a bit different from the rest of the songs I included, I think that they actually work pretty good.
What older songs are you listening to on repeat right now? I love hearing what other people are listening to.
