Happy Monday! I know it was quiet on GFF last week. It was my first week of classes, so it was a bit of a whirlwind. I’m pretty excited about all my classes this semester, but I’m looking forward to Injury Care and Prevention the most I think. There’s going to be a lot of hands on learning in that class because we’ll be practicing doing wraps and taping on each other. Other than first aid I haven’t done much in terms of wrapping so I know I’m going to learn a lot. We have quite a few classes in the gym for my Strength Training class. Being in the gym and learning how to actually do things is always better than sitting in a classroom listening to a lecture, right?

I’m feeling a bit more organized and prepared this week so I’m planning to be back to my normal publishing schedule this week. In addition to this post, I’m planning a day in the life and Friday Favorites posts.

I thought I’d start off the week with a new workout playlist. While most of the music is new stuff that’s on the radio right now, I also added a few older songs like Pink’s Get The Party Started and I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry (can you believe that it was released 8 years ago?!?!)

40 Minute Workout Playlist

Sometimes all it takes for me to get to the gym to workout when I’m not feeling motivated is a new playlist. Music can be a hugely motivating factor for me, making the difference between just going through the movements and putting in my top effort. Really, what’s the point of working out if you’re not going to put in 100%.

Check out my Workout Playlists page for more music ideas.

What’s a song on your current workout playlist?

Awesome playlist! I couldn’t image working out without music :)
