It's been awhile since I last did a beauty post here on GFF. Just after Christmas when The Body Shop was having their 50% off sale I bought some stuff. I don't spend a lot of money on skincare or makeup, so when I saw the sale I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity. Since then I've also bought a few more things so I thought I'd share them all with you.
While this isn't listed on The Body Shop website, I'm pretty sure that I saw it in the store when I was there last week. I typically have to be careful about what I use for my skin because mine is pretty sensitive. Products will make me break out or give me dry skin. It's not fun. I didn't have any problems with this one though and I've been using it for a few months now. My face feels clean after I've used it without drying my skin out.
The Aloe Protective Restoring Mask is perfect for a weekly pick me up. I usually leave it on for 15 or 20 minutes. I then wash it off. It doesn't get sticky or hard so I don't have to worry about scrubbing too hard to get it off.
I don't wear a lot of makeup, so this is an essential for me. The All in One Face Base provides just enough coverage without looking like too much. It's easy to apply and blends easily. The shade I got was 02.
If I'm putting on powder, then I'm putting on blush too. This All in One Blusher is perfect for adding a little color without going overboard. I was actaully a little surprised when I got it how small it was, but I've realized that a little goes a long way and you don't need much of it. I got shade 07 Amber.
I've been using this Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil for years now. Whenever I run out of this and it takes me awhile to get back to the store to buy more, my cuticles show it. Since it has a brush it's really easy to apply and not at all messy. I use it a couple times a week right before bed.
These lip balms were my most recent purchase. I tend to go through lip balms like crazy. It's not that I lose them, it's that I use them so much. Like a lot. I almost always need one within reach. When I saw these on sale in the store I knew I needed to get a couple. They go on smoothly with just a hint of color. I got the strawberry, pink berry, and pomegranate ones.
What's your favorite product from The Body Shop? What was your last beauty buy?
