I participated in a Manitoba Harvest Hemp Heart Bars campaign with Sweat Pink. I received free product, but all thoughts and opinions are mine.
A few weeks ago I received a few of Manitoba Harvest's new Hemp Heart Bars to review. Between the chocolate and apple cinnamon flavors that I was sent, I definitely like the apple cinnamon flavor best. Unlike most people I'm not a big chocolate person (I know, it's shocking to some people when I tell them that). Sometimes bars can taste sort of fake when they have added flavors, but I didn't find that with these ones. They actually tasted like apples and chocolate. Each 45 gram bar contains 10 grams of protein along with 10 grams of Omegas. I also like that there's 3 grams in fiber in there as well. There's a ton of nutrition packed into these Hemp Heart Bars.
Bars are one of my favorite things to use as snacks. They're small, don't require utensils, and aren't messy to eat. They're perfect for when I'm on the go at work or school. They're quick to grab as I'm leaving the house and easy to put in my bag or backpack. Plus I can keep a stash of them in my locker at school as well. I ended up eating one in the car after doing a bunch of errands. It was nearly lunch time, but I still had one more store to head to before I could go home. I ate the chocolate one while I was out on a walk.
