How is it already Friday? This week has flown by. The above photo sums up my week. I’ve had two presentations and a midterm in the last seven days. Needless to say that I’ve spent more than a few hours in study carrels in the library. I love that parts of the library are designated as silent as I tend to get distracted by the TV, music, or talking. While having all those things happening so close together was stressful, I’m feeling good about how they all went. I’m definitely glad it’s done and over with! Once I hand in an assignment on Tuesday, I thankfully have a couple weeks before I have another assignment due. While I still have to keep up to date with readings I’m looking forward to a bit of a break.
With how busy I’ve been with school and work, I needed to take some time for myself last weekend. Date night happened on Saturday. I hadn’t seen my boyfriend in awhile so it was great to spend some time together just having fun. In addition I had a friend in town for the weekend so I got to spend a good chunk of Sunday with her. It had been a long time since we’d last seen each other, but as usual we picked up right where we last left off.
In case you haven’t heard yet, Adele has announced that her next album will be released on November 20! I’m really looking forward to it as I’m a huge Adele fan. I’m hoping that this new album means she’ll go on tour again. If that’s the case I’m going to try my hardest to get tickets. I think she’d put on an amazing live show. She’s released her first single from the album called Hello. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it, but now that I’ve listened to it a couple times I’m really liking it.
As I’m taking the personal training program at school, I’ll be working in the fitness industry once I’m done. I’m planning on getting my AFLCA certification before I graduate to help beef up my resume. I’ve signed up to take the first class (exercise theory) in November which I’m really looking forward to. It’s going to be a lot of work (we have 24 hours worth of class on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), but I’m looking forward to learning lots of practical things to use with my future clients. My plan is to share a bit about it once I’ve taken it in case anyone is interested in learning more about it.
What do you think of Adele’s new single?
