My workouts weren’t very exciting last week. Because I had more dental work done on Wednesday and leaning over made my mouth start to throb, I kept the workouts pretty easy – most of them were walks.
Sunday I did this workout from Julie at pbfingers.com. I did a few modifications. I went through the circuit twice for a 30 minute workout. I took a quick break at the end of the first circuit and half way through the second. It kicked my butt, so I’m sure I’ll be doing it again.
Monday I went for a 45 minute walk in my favorite park after work.
Tuesday I had to be at work at 5 am so I took a rest day.
Wednesday I went for a walk by the river. After being at the dentist in the morning and then going to work afterwards, I needed to get out and stretch my legs a bit. I have a hard time being still, so being in the dentist’s chair for over an hour was hard to do.
Thursday I decided to take it easy again today and took a rest day.
Friday I went for another walk today. It rained most of the morning and afternoon, but I managed to get in a dry walk (minus the puddles of course) before I went out for date night. There’s something about going for a walk right after it’s rained that’s kind of fun. The colors on the plants and flowers are more vibrant when they’re wet.
Saturday I took another rest day. I was out late the night before, so I decided to sleep in instead of get up early to get in a workout. It had been a long week with lots of studying for school, work, and the dentist, so my body appreciated the extra sleep.
