Podcasts I’m Currently Listening To

Fitpro Inferno Although there haven’t been any new episodes of this podcast in a few months, I’m slowly making my way through the older ones. Essentially Steve do la Torre interviews different fitness professionals. Since I’m starting a kinesiology diploma in a few months it’s been really interesting to hear his guests talk about all things fitness and business related.

Startup I first heard about this podcast from a friend on Twitter. The first season had just started, so by the time I started listening I was only a few episodes behind. I quickly caught up and was hooked from that point on. The first season followed the host founding his own podcast company. It was great to hear how he handled everything from hiring his first employees to trying to convince people to invest in his company. Season two just ended and followed two founders who started an online dating company in New York City. It was very interesting to hear how doing the Start Up podcast affected the company they were following.

Online Marketing Made Easy with Amy Porterfield I’m always trying to improve my blog. I’m constantly trying to learn more and get better at everything that blogging entails – from writing to social media to SEO. One way I get new information on the latest online things is from Amy Porterfield. She’s made a name for herself as a Facebook marketing guru, but she discusses all sorts of other stuff along with Facebook on her podcast. One of her last podcasts was how to use visual content to drive traffic to your site. Although she does have guests on who she interviews, other podcasts are just her talking about various things about her own business. She provides awesome notes and freebies with her podcasts as well. She links to any websites mentioned during the show as well as sharing worksheets. She’s a wealth of great information.
