As always, thanks to Jen for hosting What I Ate Wednesday. I’ve had some dental work done over the last week, so for the last little while I’ve been eating soft foods that require minimal chewing. I’m actually going back to the dentist this morning to get it finished (I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t hurt too much). I’ll be very glad once my mouth is back to normal and I can eat whatever I want!

WIAW Breakfast June 10 2015

I’ve been sticking to oatmeal, yogurt, and apple sauce for breakfast. Having something hot is nice (I’ve found that a lot of soft foods are cold for some reason). Plus the oatmeal helps to keep me full until it’s time for lunch. The yogurt adds a little protein to me meal as well. It’s been tough coming up with fruits and veggies other than apple sauce that are soft. I’m officially missing all things that are green!

Although it’s not my favorite, Kraft Dinner is pretty soft and doesn’t really require much chewing. While it’s definitely not my first choice, eating this is better than having a mouth that hurts. There’s just something very strange about “making” cheese that comes out of a packet. I’m pretty sure I won’t be eating it again for a very long time.

WIAW Dinner June 10 2015

I decided to get a Booster Juice for dinner. I usually don’t get them very often, but since I don’t have to chew it at all, I thought it would be a good choice. I went with the original flavor, though the berry one is one a favorite of mine. I wanted to avoid berries though because they have seeds, which wouldn’t be fun to deal with.

What was your favorite meal from the last week? Leave me a comment so I can live vicariously through you!

It’s been way too long since I last had Kraft mac and cheese. That sounds like Heaven in a bowl right now ;)

Ooh what a good question – I don’t know if I have a favorite meal. I did have a really good buffalo chicken salad at a local restaurant but i don’t know if that was my favorite. Another thought could be the delicious chocolate peanut butter popcorn I made? Again, not a meal. But all your foods look so good! Thanks for sharing your WIAW eats – love sharing mine and seeing everyone’s!

Mac n’ cheese. YUM! It’s been forever since I’ve made mac n’ cheese. I think you just inspired me to do it. :) Favorite meal from last week was probably … EVERYTHING. :D
