I somehow skipped goals for May, so I’ll get right to what I want to accomplish in June!
Get outside 5 times per week. Although I get to be outside for one of my jobs, I’m still working. It’s wonderful to be out there, but it’s not the same as spending time doing what I want to do outside. This month I’m committing to getting outside more. That can be anything from going for a walk along the river to doing some yoga in the backyard. We only have nice weather here in Calgary for a few months every year, so I want to take advantage of it.
Be in bed by 10 pm 6 nights per week. I’ve usually always been good about going to bed early and making sure I get enough sleep. I naturally wake up pretty early (most of the time around 6 am), so making sure that I get as close to 8 hours of shut eye is important. I’m pretty grumpy when I don’t get enough sleep, so not only is it good for me, but also the people I’m around. The last few weeks I’ve been slacking on going to bed at a decent time though. I think part of it is that it’s still light out when I go to bed, which makes it hard to get into “bed time” mode. I’m still getting over a cold, and I know that lack of sleep is part of the reason why it’s hanging around for so long.
June is going to be a busy month for me. I’m going to visit a friend for a few days next week. We’re heading to the Canada v. New Zealand World Cup game! I have a couple tests and an exam to prepare for for my anatomy class. I’ve also signed up to go to a couple blogging events this month as well. Because of June being so full I think I’m just going to stick with two goals this month.
Leave me a comment with a goal of yours that you want to accomplish in June.
