Sunday I wasn’t feeling a super sweaty workout this morning, so I went for a walk. The park across the river is finally back open after the flood a few years ago, so I did a big loop, half of it being in that park. I covered 4.3 km (2.7 miles) in 50 minutes. It was a gorgeous day, so it was perfect that I decided to go for a walk instead of workout inside.
Monday I did the Super Fast Super Sweaty circuit workout from Julie who blogs over at PB Fingers. It was just what I needed. My shoulders were sore for a day or so aster. It must have been the overhead presses with squats that did me in. Even though it was only a 25 minute workout I was breathing heavy by the time I was done.
Tuesday It was an early work day so it was a rest day.
Wednesday I went for another walk. I couldn’t talk myself into getting up early enough for a workout in the morning before work, so I thought a walk after work would do. I ended up going to the same area as I did on Sunday. It’s hard to resist the scenic views of the river.
Thursday I took another rest day.
Friday I was planning on getting in a workout before work, but I got a chance to pick up some extra hours at my early job, so I took them. I couldn’t convince myself to do anything after work, so I had an unplanned rest day.
Saturday I wasn’t feeling very creative, so I went with an old favorite – the first workout from Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred (affiliate link). It had been awhile since I’d last done one of her workouts, and I have to admit that I kind of forgot how hard she makes you work. While I was done in just under 30 minutes, I was pretty sweaty.
Leave me a comment with your favorite workout this week.
