Since it’s finally starting to feel like spring around here, I thought I’d share some of the clothes that I’ve been eyeing while window shopping online lately. My budget is pretty tight these days, so unfortunately this is probably as close as I’ll get to these clothes for the moment. That doesn’t make it any less fun to think about though. I have to admit that I think spring fashion is my favorite. After what feels like months and months of cold temperatures and snow I’m more than ready to transition to warmer weather.
I’m not much of a dress wearer, but spring always seems like the time to wear a dress if I’m going to. I love the look of this one (affiliate link) from the Gap. It looks comfy (a must of I’m going to be wearing it for any length of time), while still being cute. It even has pockets! I think it would be cute layers with a cardigan or a denim jacket.
Putting a blazer on always makes me feel so put together. Both my jobs are pretty casual, so I almost feel like I’m dressing up when I wear one. I thought this one from Reitmans was pretty cute. It has great lines and the color is so springy.
While it’s not quite warm enough most days yet for bare arms, cardigans are the perfect solution. I like these classic ones (affiliate link) from Old Navy. Layering them with other pieces (from tees to tanks to camis) is always fun.
Spring also means it’s finally time to start wearing capris again! There’s nothing better than the first day that’s warm enough to show a little leg, especially after the long winters we have here. These denim capris (affiliate link) are perfect for casual outfits as they go with just about anything.
I really like the look of this top. It looks comfortable while also having some interest around the neck and the sleeves. You can check it out here at Ricki’s. I can see myself wearing it with a pair of white capris.
As the weather gets warmer, it’s a treat to be able to wear tanks again. They’re great for layering as the mornings and evenings are still cool. These basic ones (affiliate link) from the Gap are cute while still being pretty affordable.
Denim jackets are a must when transitioning from cooler to warmer weather. I like the look of this one (affiliate link) from H&M. I think the distressed look is pretty cute and ads some interest to the jacket.
Leave me a comment with one of your essential pieces for spring.

My essential pieces. A pair of capri boyfriend denim jeans and a flowy top!
Flowy tops are perfect for warmer weather.
Cute picks! I love the dress as I am a big fan of dresses and skirts these days!
I agree, it’s nice to get away from pants when it’s not freezing cold anymore!
