Boy am I glad for long weekends – and four day long weekends at that! I’ve been working hard lately, so the long weekend has come at a perfect time. Just a warning, this post is going to be all over the place.

Larabar Instagram April 3 2015

I’ve been kind of obsessed with Larabars lately. They’re great to take to work with me on my early days at work. Around 9 or 10 in the morning I start getting hungry (eating breakfast at 4:30 am will do that). They’re awesome to stick in my bag and eat on my break. I recently found a recipe from Lindsay who writes the Lean Green Bean blog to make Lara bites. While I haven’t tried the recipe yet, it looks delicious and I know I’ll be giving it a try soon.

World Cup Ticket April 3 2015

I was finally able to print my World Cup tickets this week! Now it feels official that I have a piece of paper that will let me into the games. It still hasn’t sunk in that I’m going to be seeing some of the best female soccer players in the entire world play. Not to mention the fact that I’ll be able to cheer on the Canadian team in person! I’ve been watching them on TV for years now, and have been following a few of them on social media too. I’m hoping they play great throughout the tournament.

For the last little while I haven’t been sleeping very well. Whenever I wake up during the night I it takes me forever to fall back asleep and I end up waking up tired still when my alarm goes off in the morning. Well last night I had the most amazing sleep. Seriously, the best sleep I’ve had in a month or more. I felt so good this morning. I’m hoping the good sleep continues because I’ve sure been missing it.

Easter Candy April 3 2015

Last year I waited too long to buy Easter candy and there wasn’t much left at the store. It was kind of sad to see the empty displays and boxes. I got talking to a coworker today who mentioned that she’d bought Easter candy yesterday at a store that still had lots left. I figured I’d take her advice and I went over after I was done at work. She was right – there was lots left and I had so many choices. I ended up getting a few different things. This year’s candy is going to be awesome compared to last years. The above is a sneak peak of what I got. Really, you can’t go wrong with Lindt.

The last thing I want to share today is pretty awesome. If you’ve spent any amount of time on my blog, you’ll know I’m a big fan of By Regina. She has all kinds of super advice for bloggers and creative entrepreneurs. As in if you’re either of those things you need to take a few minutes right now and head over to her site to check her out. Not only does she has great information, she also manages to share it in an awesomely funny way. The other day she posted about her beginnings as an entrepreneur and her struggles. She’s now in a place to pay it forward, and she definitely is. Check out her post here.

Leave me a comment with your favorite kind of Easter candy.

I got some of those Reese peanut butter eggs! I don’t think I’ve had them before but you can’t go wrong with the combination of chocolate and peanut butter.

Those Cadbury eggs are pretty good! My coworker was telling me about some Ferraro Rocher ones that are supposed to be pretty good too.

      Happy Easter!
