Weekly Workouts 2

Sunday I completed workouts 2 and 3 of Mari Winsor’s Flat Abs Pilates (affiliate link). Workout 2 was pretty tough. My core was on fire by the time I was done. Mari definitely means business! Even though I was tired, I ended up really enjoying workout 3. It was short and sweet, but I still worked hard. If you’re curious, check out my review here.

Monday I decided on Jillian Michaels’ Extreme Shed and Shred. I did the first workout on the DVD. It was a pretty typical Jillian Michaels workout, but it was a bit longer at 45 minutes. Luckily it was a pretty fun and varied workout. She goes through several circuits which are all repeated twice. I¬†know I’ll be doing Extreme Shed & Shred (affiliate link) again.

Tuesday It was my early start at work, so I took a rest day.

Wednesday While I had good intentions of getting in a workout before work, I slept horribly the night before so I decided to pick sleep over working out. I have to admit that it felt pretty good to get some extra sleep.

Baker Park Walk March 26 2015

Thursday It was a gorgeous day, so I ended up going for a walk in one of my favorite parks. It’s right by the river, so it was affected from the flood a few years ago. Repair work is still being done, so my walk was cut short as the path that went under a bridge right by the river was still closed. I’m hoping it’ll be fixed sooner rather than later. There’s a Frisbee golf course in the park, and so many people were out enjoying it. One person even had to climb down the bank towards the river as he’d overthrown his Frisbee.

Friday I picked up an extra early shift at work, so my planned morning workout got put on hold. I had to be at work at 5 am, so there was no way I was getting up any earlier than I absolutely had to.

Saturday Yesterday I did the second workout from Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred DVD (affiliate link). It was a long one for a Jillian Michaels workout at 55 minutes, but it didn’t feel that long. By the time I was done I was tired, but I’m glad I got in one more workout this week.
