Back in October I wrote a post about some of my favourite blogs (you can read it here). Today I thought I’d share a few more of my favourites that I’m always excited to see pop up in my Feedly.

My Favourite Blogs January 2015 Pinterest

Brown Eyed Baker I discovered Michelle’s blog a few years ago. I was immediately hooked. While I had quite a few food/cooking blogs in my reader at the time, this was the first one I’d read that was focused on baking. I’m a huge baker so I loved her choice of recipes. I’ve recreated quite a few of her recipes over the years and they’ve all been fabulous. Her soft pretzel recipe is a favourite in our house. They always seem to disappear in minutes. Yes, you read that right, minutes. You can find the soft pretzel recipe here. I’ve also made her blueberry scones, cinnamon buns, and cranberry walnut zucchini bread.

XO Sarah Sarah is a business consultant, web designer, and circus performer (I’m not even joking about that last one). She writes a great blog about those first two things. One the the first posts I read on her blog was about how she left her office job and started her own business (you can find that post here). I appreciated her honesty about how much work and planning it took before she left. One of my favourite features on her blog is her Making the Escape series. She interviews women who make the leap from working for someone else to being their own boss. They come from many different backgrounds and decided to go into business for themselves doing all sorts of things. I find that each one I read gives me more inspiration and motivation.

Back to her Roots The first thing that drew me into Cassie’s Back to her Roots blog was her gardening. If you’ve read my blog over the summer months you’ll know I love to garden. While I don’t have much room to do it since I live in the city, I enjoy reading about her garden as she has lots of room and is able to grow so many yummy vegetables than I can. If you haven’t checked out her printables page, it’s definitely worth a look. She’s created everything from chore charts to wellness calendars. She also creates some pretty tasty recipes. Click on the above cherry upside down cake graphic to be taken to her recipe for it.
