Thanks to Jen for hosting What I Ate Wednesday.
I made an English muffin with an egg and bacon for breakfast. I also had some cherries. They were super sweet and so good. Iām going to miss fresh cherries over the winter. I can find them sometimes at the grocery store, but they never taste as good as in the summer.
For lunch I threw together a salad of spinach. cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and salad dressing. The cucumber added a little crunch to the salad. I also had a piece of bread to go with it (unpictured).
I ended up going out for dinner with my parents. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with a Caesar side salad. The salsa that it was served with was amazing, but unfortunately it came in a tiny bowl, as you can see in the photo.
How do you like your bacon cooked; crisp or soft?
Yumm that looks like my kind of salad! I love cucumbers for their crunch as well!
Salads can get kind of boring after awhile, I always try to add a little something to them.
Crispy bacon, all the way.
That’s how I like my bacon too.
I always have to ask for extra salsa when I order a quesadilla! Those little bowls never have enough!
I don’t know why I didn’t think to do that!
MMM that breakfast sammy looks so good! I love crispy turkey bacon! Nitrate free of course! :)
I have yet to try turkey bacon.
