I was on a roll with the food this week. I made some pretty tasty things. This salad had romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, carrots, feta cheese and Greek dressing. It was just as delicious as it sounds. I also had two hard boiled eggs on the side for some protein.
This pita sandwich had lettuce, tomatoes, pepperoni, and goat cheese. It was a great combination of flavours. It might sound kind of strange, but it worked so well together.
I was at the mall earlier this week. I parked outside of the entrance to the Target, which meant I had to walk through Target to get to the mall. I made it about half way before I found this clutch. I thought it was the cutest one of the bunch (there were quite a few other designs in the same style). The best part is, it fits my phone. Since I have a Galaxy S4, it doesn’t fit in anything made for iphones cause it’s a bit bigger.
Since I knew I was buying the clutch I decided to find a water bottle in Target too. I’d been looking for one recently, as the one I have been using got pretty banged up at my last job. It was metal, so whenever it got dropped it didn’t break (thankfully), but that meant it got bent out of shape pretty good. It didn’t sit flat anymore, so it was kind of a pain.
The trip to the mall ended with a stop at Starbucks for a passion tea lemonade. If you’ve never tried it, you should, it’s so delicious and refreshing.
I’ve been spending a lot of time studying this week. I have a test on electrochemistry coming up on Monday, so that’s meant lots of quality time with my textbooks and time spent at school getting some extra help. I’ll be very glad once this test is done. It feels like I’ve been working on the same stuff forever.
Thursday I ended up having lunch at Smash Burger. I went with the Classic Smash and sweet potato fries. It had been awhile since I’d last had sweet potato fries, so I’d forgotten how good they were. I definitely won’t be waiting that long to eat them again.
After all the rain we’ve had this week it was pretty nice to find this flower blooming this morning in the garden. I miss the flowers and greenery so much during the long cold winters, so I’m always trying to soak it up as much as I can while it’s here.
