This morning I woke up to snow. Although the drive to work this morning wasn’t too bad, the drive home was pretty horrible. Not cool, especially on the first day of spring.
Looking forward to when the snow is over, I ordered some seeds this weekend! I got a couple different kinds of tomatoes that have already arrived. I also have some veggies (peas, broccoli, zucchini) on the way as well.
It’s always kind of fun to get the seeds started inside while there’s still snow on the ground and it’s cold outside. I kind of feel like I’m cheating mother nature. Then again with the short growing season here it’s almost a necessity to start as many things inside as you can.
I can’t wait to be eating fresh food from my garden this year.
