To be honest I had kind of been dreading today. Is Valentine’s Day something anyone really looks forward to? If you’re single you’re constantly reminded that you’re single. If you’re in a relationship there’s either a lot of pressure to do something or you’re disappointed when that awesome thing you were expecting doesn’t happen.
Ok, I admit I might be a little bitter.
Maybe it’s because my expectations were pretty low, but today turned out better than I was expecting. I ended up having sushi for lunch today. It was amazing good as always. I had a heart shaped cookie for dessert. I have a thing for sprinkles. I don’t know what it is, but if they’re on something, it tastes 1000% better. Let me tell you, there were a lot of sprinkles on that cookie. One of my bosses gave me Lindt chocolates. Lindt’s are my absolute favourite. I did a good deed by buying that Valentine’s Day bag of candy at school today. Half of the money went towards the student’s association, and half went to Inn from the Cold. Plus I got candy out of it. You can’t go wrong with that kind of deal.
