Blogger Christmas Swap

I participated in the Canadian blogger Christmas swap this year, and on Friday I got my package in the mail from Taren over at Life of Taren. It had been a long week, so it made my day when I saw that I had gotten a package. She hit the nail on the head with what she chose for me.

It’s always fun opening a box that’s come in the mail, especially when it’s so pretty.

Apparently she’d looked through my blog and found this post where I posted my favourite Christmas movies. She picked these ornaments for me cause I listed It’s A Charlie Brown Christmas as a movie that I watch every year. They’re really cute and once we get the Christmas tree up I’m sure they’ll look great on it.

I’m pretty sure these are the most fun straws I’ve ever seen. We always have an Italian Christmas Eve dinner where my dad makes an amazing lasagna. Most of the time we have Italian appetizers, wine, and Orangina. I’m pretty sure I’ll be saving these straws for the Orangina that night.

Hot chocolate is my go-to hot beverage. I’ll have tea once in awhile if I’m at a Vietnamese or Chinese restaurant, but I never make it for myself at home. I don’t drink coffee either (shocking, I know). When I saw that hot chocolate was included it was absolutely perfect.
