This has been a crazy busy week. I’m pretty happy it’s Friday and that means I don’t have to work tomorrow. Woohoo! Let’s talk about some awesome things that happened this week.

I tried out a new yoga studio this week. It was a cheaper class because it was a student teacher. They teacher was great – it felt like she’d been teaching for awhile, and by the time we did savasana I was feeling pretty relaxed. It’s been awhile since I last did a mid week yoga class. I think I’ll have to do it more often.

The Canadian women’s national soccer team played a friendly against South Korea Wednesday night. It was a great game to watch (lots of close calls for both teams), but Canada pulled out a 3-0 win. I think the player of the game was Erin McLeod, the keeper, who made some amazing saves. Click here for all the details of the game.

I got a job interview, and accepted another position this week. I’m pretty excited about it. It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of work, but it’ll be a fun work environment with great co-workers.

I got tickets for a Flames game in a couple weeks. It’ll be my first game this season so I’m pretty excited. While the seats aren’t great, they’re affordable and I’m grateful I get to go.

Tomorrow I’m looking forward to volunteering at the 30 Hour Soccer Marathon. They’ll be playing 30 soccer games in a row for a total of 30 hours to raise money for cancer. I’m excited to be able to help out a great cause.

What good things happened this week for you? Where’s the last place you volunteered?

It’s Friday!
