Monday morning’s workout was level 1 of Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred (< affiliate link). It’d been awhile since I’d done it, and it seemed harder than I remembered.
Wednesday afternoon was absolutely beautiful, so I convinced my dad to go for a walk with me. We ended up going about 1.7 miles (2.7 km) in 40 minutes, with a couple stops to enjoy the views.
Saturday afternoon I went to my usual yoga class. It was a tough class that challenged me to really work hard. After class I went to ask the teacher a question and she told me I had a beautiful practice. It made me feel good that even though I feel so wobbly and uncoordinated most of the time, she could see how much I was trying.
I played my first soccer game in over a month. Between school and other commitments I just haven’t had the time to get there Saturday evenings. Luckily I made it last night though, and it was so much fun to play. Although the plantar fasciitis in my left foot felt okay last night after the game, this morning it was pretty bad. I don’t think I’ll be able to play for awhile until I get it under control again. It’s disappointing, but at the same time it’s not worth hobbling around the next day.
