Sunday morning I went for a walk with my dad to Bowmont. We covered about 2 km in 35 minutes.

One on One Training with Jackie DVD October 20 2013

Wednesday morning I did the upper body workout from Workout: One-On-One Training with Jackie (< affiliate link). By the time I was done my shoulders were burning.

Saturday afternoon I went to my usual yoga class with my dad. My co-worker was teaching it. and when I told her I wanted to bring my dad she said she’s teach a restorative class.

It was the first restorative class I’ve ever taken, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was awesome though. Even though it was an hour long class, it felt like it was over in 10 minutes. It was great to spend some time just relaxing and allowing the tension in my body (hello shoulders) to leave. My dad hasn’t stopped talking about it, so I think he really enjoyed it too.

    Hi Fiona, I Just came across your blog from Coffee, Cake and Cardio.
    Great job on the weight loss and workouts.

    I looove Jackie! I could not get enough of her show when it was on TV, how is that DVD? I would love for her to kick my butt!

      When I bought the DVD I had no idea she had a TV show. We must not get it in Canada. As for the DVD, I really like it. There’s 3 workouts on it (upper body, lower body, and core), which you can do separately or combine for an hour long workout.
