Yesterday morning I went for a walk with my dad. I hadn’t been to Bowmont for awhile, so I thought I’d take advantage of the change of seasons and check it out.
As much as I love seeing all the green during the summer, there’s something about the reds, oranges, and golds that are so pretty.
It was a sunny morning with no clouds, so it was perfect walking temperature.
The waterfall was as pretty as usual.
Those two big chunks of rock in the middle of the photo weren’t there before the flood happened back in June. Apparently the water was powerful enough to break them off the side of the hill. Crazy!
There used to be stairs down to the river, but it’s been closed off. Probably cause those two big pieces of stone that fell off are just to the right of this photo.
The walk ended up taking about 35 minutes, and we covered about 2 km.
