I thought I’d share some photos from the last few weeks.
These were some of the last carrots I picked from the garden. The carrots this year were on the small side, but they were incredibly sweet.
These were the last red tomatoes I picked. Before the first frost set in I picked the rest of the very green tomatoes. I put them in a bowl on the counter in the kitchen. They’ve slowly been ripening, and everyone in the family has been eating them. Even though they’ve ripened inside, they’re still pretty tasty.
I made chocolate cupcakes a couple weeks ago. They were just from a boxed mix, so they weren’t spectacular, but they hit the spot all the same. You can’t go wrong with chocolate.
There’s a vendor at the local famer’s market that makes the most amazing cranberry lemon scones. They’re soooo delicious! My dad almost always gets some for me when he’s by the farmer’s market.
I was running some errands and saw this beautiful full moon. I know it’s not a very pretty photo (parking lots aren’t nice to look at), but I was struck by how bright the moon was.
You can’t go wrong with Vietnamese food or vermicelli.
It’s amazing how fast fall sneaks up every year. It somehow manages to change from sunny, warm days to cooler, shorter days without me even noticing. Sometimes you need a hot apple cider. Cause it’s not fall without lots of apple related things.
It sounds like you’ve been very busy! I can relate. :-)
Those cupcakes look just amazing. And what a pretty moon!
I’m thinking the busiest part is behind me, as I have a couple weeks before I have to start studying for my next test.
