Edworthy Park August 17 2013

Saturday I spent the night with some friends who I hadn’t seen in awhile. We ended up going to a park to walk around and enjoy the river. To get back to the parking lot we had to walk across the bridge. We timed it perfectly just as the sun was setting and the clouds were amazing shades of pink. It was absolutely beautiful.

None of us were ready to go home after our time in the park so we headed to Starbucks to get some drinks and talk.

Sunday morning I went to church, and by the time I left I was craving barbequed hot dogs. So on my way home I stopped by the grocery store to get hot dogs and buns. I don’t know what it is that makes them taste so much better on the barbeque, but they do.

I spent Sunday afternoon with a friend. We watched Despicable Me cause he was shocked that I had never seen it before. (It was better than I thought it was going to be.)

After the movie we went for a walk at a park by his house. He’d never been there before and apparently didn’t know the reservoir was right there. There were quite a few people canoeing and kayaking. It was a gorgeous day to be out there by the water.

Afterwards we barbequed dinner with his roommates – there was everything from steak to chicken to halibut to veggies. No one went away hungry from that meal.

Which do you like better – sunrises or sunsets?
