The garden is looking very green and full these days. Over the weekend I ate the first things from it – some lettuce and a few small (but tasty) radishes.
I think this speckled lettuce is so pretty. I’ve grown it the last few years and it’s always been delicious.
The celery is starting to get pretty big, but I think it still needs at least another month until it’s ready to eat.
There are lots of blooms on the zucchini plant.
There’s even a little zucchini starting to grow! They were really big last year, so I’m hoping they’ll turn out just as good this time around.
The beans are really starting to take off. Hopefully I’ll start getting some blooms soon.
The peas are doing fabulous. They’re climbing like crazy and even grabbing onto each other with their trendils.
There’s been quite a few little white flowers on them already.
The tomatoes are coming, slowly but surely. These ones are going to be cherry tomatoes.
There’s a ton of flowers on this plant – soon to be tomatoes!
The romaine lettuce is looking pretty good. I can’t wait until it’s ready to eat.
