I managed to get in four workouts this week, which I’m pretty proud of. It’s all about small steps, right?
Sunday I went for a walk in Baker Park. It was a great walk on a perfect day to be outside. I ended up walking for 1.5 miles in 30 minutes.
Tuesday morning I did my first yogadownload.com workout. I bought a Groupon for a 3 month subscription a couple weeks ago, but this was the first time I got around to doing a workout from it. I decided on the “Hardcore yoga with weights mini bootcamp”. The name sounds intimidating, but it was actually a pretty good class. I’d consider myself a beginner in yoga, and I could do everything – there weren’t any moves or postures that were too hard.
Tuesday night I rode my bike to and from soccer. We only played a 60 minute game since it was so hot out, but it was a lot of fun. My legs were definitely tired on the ride home though – I barely made it!
Friday I went for a walk in Bowmont. I went a different direction that I’d been going lately, and I’m very glad I did. There were all kinds of flowers blooming everywhere. I didn’t get as far as I wanted in my 40 minute walk because I kept stopping to take photos of the flowers.
