Friday night was date night. Traffic on the way to pick the boyfriend up was horrible, so when it came time to deciding on where to eat, I said somewhere close by where I wouldn’t have to deal with more crazy drivers. There was a Five Guys not too far away on the way to his place, so we went there. I had a little cheeseburger and we split a little fries. It was delicious as always.
Saturday was pretty laid back. After a walk in the morning I started doing some laundry. During the afternoon I watched The Awakening. It wasn’t your usual horror movie – it was actually pretty good.
I also spent some time relaxing in the backyard reading on Saturday. It’s really pretty right now with all the flowers blooming. I’m slowly but surely getting through The Favoured Child. I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to read – it’s pretty good. Maybe I just haven’t had as much time as usual to read?
Sunday I spent a good chunk of the day outside – reading in the backyard and going for a walk in Baker Park. It was one of those beautiful sunny-but-not-too-hot days. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to spend outside.
After the walk I picked up some recreation brochures. After looking at them I now want to do 101 things – everything from indoor rock climbing to canoeing to zumba. How if only I had the time and money to do it all!
What’s the last book you read?
I’ve heard that Five Guys is basically the epitome of fast food burgers and fries. I bet it was awesome!
The zumba and rock climbing sound so fun. I’ve wanted to go rock climbing ever since watching Catch That Kid with Kristen Stewart when I was like 10 :)
Current book- The second Nikki Heat novel by Richard Castle!
