Fun Facts Friday

This week I got info about the upcoming 2013-2014 season at Theatre Calgary in the mail. All their productions look good, but I really want to see The Great Gatsby, A Christmas Carol (they put this on every year, but I haven’t seen it since high school), The Mountaintop, and Mary Poppins. I’m going to have to make some tough decisions. Luckily tickets don’t go on sale for a couple weeks still, so I have some time to make up my mind.

My African Violet is finally blooming! I have to find a sunnier spot cause it only blooms during the summer where I have it right now. It makes me smile every time I see it.

Tuesday was my last “official’ soccer game. After our game we headed to a year end party with lots of food and drinks (a Corona tastes especially good after playing soccer in case you were wondering). While there will still be free drop in games on Tuesday nights over the summer, I know I won’t see a lot of the players until it starts back up again in April. If you’re in Calgary and interested in rec soccer games over the summer, let me know and I’ll give you the info.

This weekend is a long weekend thanks to Canada Day. It’ll be very nice to have three days off in a row. The weather is supposed to be sunny and warm, so that’s an extra bonus. While I don’t have any big plans, I do want to spend as much time as possible outside.
