Garden Vegetables May 7 2013 (4)

It’s been a little over a month now since I planted my seeds, so I thought I’d share how they’re doing so far.

The plants in the above photos are all tomatoes. Out of everything I’m growing, I think I’m most excited about them. There’s nothing like biting into a tomato that was picked only an hour before.

These are also tomatoes. though a different kind than the big ones in the first photo. It’s interesting that they’re both tomatoes, but they still look so different.

These are cucumbers. I don’t think I got any cucumbers last year cause a hailstorm tore up the leaves on them and the plants never produced any cucumbers. I’m definitely looking forward to them this summer though.

Two of these are celery, and the one in the back is a pepper plant. I’ve never grown celery or pepper before, so I’m hoping they’ll do alright.

Do you have your garden started yet?

I love that you are growing a garden! I never have, but I would love to have a vegetable garden someday!

They’re so cute! I love new plants. It always amazes me that something so little and delicate like that can make it out there in nature. I just started growing some poppies, and we’re planning on starting an herb garden soon. I can’t wait!
