It’s finally starting to feel like spring around here. I know it’s hard to see in that photo, but trees are starting to bud! I know, I’m weird, but that makes me pretty happy.
I went for a walk with my friend, her daughter, and their dogs over the weekend. At a stop at a park her daughter and I played an exciting game of “princess and dragon” where the dragon chased the princess. There was also a game of “pirates” in which the picnic tables were our ships. Sometimes I wish I still had the imagination of the three year old.
Friday night I ended up at a local soccer store Kicks, and bought my cleat bag. No more chasing after plastic bags for me!
Sunday was non-stop in a good way. After church the boyfriend and I had lunch together and then went to go see Ironman 3. While I enjoyed it, there were a few parts in the storyline I wasn’t quite sure about. Overall though it was a fun movie to watch for a couple hours.
Because yesterday was Cinco de Mayo I had to have Mexican food. I had a couple soft tacos and an amazingly delicious margarita in a cactus glass. I should have taken a photo of it, it was awesome.
Last night’s episode of Mad Men was pretty good. I think my favourite part was when Joan got mad at Don. You don’t want Joan to be mad at you. I can’t wait for next week’s episode to see the aftermath.
