Podcasts

I can listen to my ipod while I’m at work. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but it’s awesome. AWESOME! I know every word to Adele’s 21 and King of Leon’s Only By the Night.

But I’ve decided that I want to try listening to something other than music. My boyfriend suggested an audio book, but I’m not sure if I’m up for something quite that long.

I’ve been looking for podcasts the last couple weeks, and I’ve found a couple that I like so far. The one I’m listening to right now is actually a History of Europe class from Yale (European Civilization, 1648-1945 to be exact). I’ve listening to 7 or 8 so far. There’s 20 or 25 of them, so I still have quite a few to go.

If you’re interested in checking out the university class podcasts, they’re listed under the iTunesU tab in the iStore. There’s a little bit of everything – from statistics to psychology.

I’m on the hunt for the next thing I want to listen to. Do you have any favourite podcasts? Or maybe talk me into listening to a book.
